The Dome - LD#42

The year is 2073 ...

... after the devastating global warming episodes of the early 21st century, the Earth began to boil. The loss of plant and animal life caused a change in the composition of the Earth's atmosphere, causing the oxygen levels to plummet and forcing humanity to move into huge dome constructions.

The quality of life slowly deteriorated over the years as resources became ever more limited, causing the crime rates  to soar.

However, the domes are only a temporary solution until the scientists can finish up building them space rockets - for which space within is limited. You need to pay your way onto the shuttle, but your still 15 grand short.

It's a jungle out there ...
